Guy is a freelance theatre director and writer based in London, working in the UK and internationally.
Guy grew up in Lancashire, and after studying Industrial Economics at the University of Nottingham, won the Directors Guild of Great Britain award for 'Best New Director’. Following postgraduate training at the Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, Guy worked as Assistant and Associate Director on numerous productions in the West End and at the Royal Shakespeare Company.
Guy's freelance career now spans a wide range of genres, from new musicals to Shakespeare. Recently, Guy directed the UK Tour of John Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men, his own adaptation of Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em and Singapore Repertory Theatre's 25th anniversary production of Julius Caesar.

The Grange Festival Opera
Guy will direct a staged concert of the Lerner and Lowe classic for the Festival in 2020, with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra and The Grange Festival Chorus.
